Believe it or not, stress can actually be your cause for acne. A study at a German university has proven the stress theory. Another study found that acne worsened in students that were under stress from exams. They discovered that when you are under stress, your body releases a chemical called CRH (corticotropin-releasing hormone.)

During times of stress, CRH is released from the hypothalamus to create a hormone called cortisol that is responsible for creating enough energy for the brain amongst other things.

The problem with CRH is that it also causes the oil glands in the skin to produce more oil (sembum). When there is excess oil in the skin, the pores are prone to getting clogged.

When the oil is combined with bacteria, dirt, dead skin cells, and cell waste it creates the condition of acne.

Dr Jerome Litt, A German dermatologist, believes stress also increases production of androgens. Androgens are the male growth hormone that regulate skin oil production and is produced in large quantities during puberty which is why the most severe acne sufferers are teenagers.

Any type of stress can cause the above problems. Stress is defined as mental or physical tension that results from physical, emotional, or chemical causes. Things such as worry, anxiety, fear and anger are all different types of stress and should be avoided where possible.

There are many great ways to reduce and relieve stress. One of the easiest and most effective ways is through exercise.

When you exercise, your body begins to release chemicals called endorphins. Endorphines make you ‘feel good’ as they are a natural pain-killer and are very effective in combating stress.

Even simple laughter is known to release endorphins into the body. There have been studies that have shown that the body also releases at least 4 hormones that are all related to stress.

Diet is also important for emotional and psychological well-being which is important for avoiding stress. Stress arises when you are out-of-sorts and depressed. When you are happy you are less likely to be bothered or stressed out by certain happenings.

Vitamins are required by the body when under stress. Vitamin B is essential for mental health and deficiencies can lead to depression, lack of concentration and tiredness, all perfect conditions for stress from normal everyday problems.

Other practices such as meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, massage, use of herbs, incense, aromatherapy and bath salts are also excellent ways to reduce stress and all help you to relax.

—————————————————————————————–

To effectively treat your acne, you need to fix the problems in your body that are causing your acne. Acuzine is a great product that attacks the main, internal causes of acne.

Who loves Acne?

No one!

Still the irony is, it is too common, a problem, these days.

It feels bad to know that most of the peeps have acne on their face or neck. The people, who become its victim, mostly belong to the teenage or early twenties. Acne is, in itself, a grave skin problem. And further when you have Acne scars, it bounds to be a double punishment laid up on you.

In fact, scars from acne are horrible. They are like horrendous climax following the scary trailer. First you had no choice, than to suffer from those wretched pimples. Now the acne scars are here on your skin to remind you all day what has gone by.

Is there anything that can be done about it? Well, you can definitely deal your acne scars and get that smooth and shiny skin back. It is not, all that, difficult to deal with the acne scars indeed.

All you need to have a good deal of workable information about it. And, we are here for the same purpose. To understand scars better, you should know the factors that deal with acne. If you go by the treatment of acne suitably, the task of dealing with acne scars is half done for you.

Acne basically refers to the abrasions or pimples. They are mainly caused when the pores or hair follicles on your skin get blocked due to excessive oil concentration over them, or due to the prominent cells of dead skins.

If your skin has blocked follicles, then it is a perfect adobe for bacteria to multiply. The presence of bacteria results in red bumps. Later pus gets filled in the red bumps, which we recognize as pimples. The name of the bacteria, in particular, that plays behind Acne is Propionibacterium acnes.

Apart from this, there are other reasons for acne also. Your body going through hormonal changes in the teen age can be the one among them. During this stage, your body produces extra oil that results in the acne related problems.

A suitable treatment is very important to deal with Acne. Although in most of the cases, people do recover from acne, but with scars left on skin. Some people live by to disfigure their acne scars. To correct mild scarring, there are many typical acne skin care products available in the market. But depending on the severity of acne scars, most of them can be done away by an arrangement of some surgical medications, treatments and even skin resurfacing.

You should identify the different stages of the acne scars. In its early situation, acne scars develop after the acne lesion gets healed. What gets left on your skin can be seen as a red hyper-pigmented mark. It is not a scar by now. As your skin goes through healing, the redness can be seen for about six to twelve months. In its next stage, after one year there are chances of color change or defect in your skin. This is considered as an everlasting scar.

The best way to prevent the early acne scars is by preventing the acne lesions from taking place. You should get acne treatment as soon as the acne emerges to avoid the further acne. Severe acne can cause very deep scars. If you understand the factors that act in causing acne, you should use the proper treatments.

The treatments can differ as per the type of acne. As per the Acne Scarring Classification System proposed in 2001, acne scars are categorized as Icepick, Boxcar and Rolling. This classification depends on the look of the scar.

The icepick acne scars are quite narrow and sharp scars. They can make your skin look as if it has been punctured at all places. These scars are quite difficult to be corrected through the skin resurfacing treatments. The boxcar scars range from round to oval dents with sharp and vertical edges. They can be treated with traditional skin resurfacing techniques. The other type, rolling acne scars occurs due to the tethering of normal skin to the subcutaneous tissue. This process gives the skin a rolling or undulating appearance. The conventional skin treatment techniques do not seem to work in this case.

If you wish to deal with the acne scars better, it is important for you to understand them better. Just prevent them from happening. And get them treated with the right medications, consulting your skin doctor.

Acne is a difficult problem to deal with and it has many negative consequences that are hard to ignore. It is important to believe that there is a solution to your acne. Often acne is the result of an imbalance in your body. Many teenagers that suffer from acne do so because of hormonal imbalances.

However what you eat may also trigger the increased growth of acne causing bacteria in your skin. You can use your diet to help create an internal environment that does not promote the growth of this acne causing bacteria. Diets that are high in fats and carbohydrates can contribute to causing more acne.

It is important to control both the quantity and the quality of the foods you consume in order to use your diet to help reduce your acne. While diet alone may not be enough to completely eliminate your acne it can certainly help to reduce it. Many people that have suffered with acne have reported that by making simple dietary changes they have experienced improvements with their acne condition.

A good dietary tip is to reduce the amount of junk foods or processed foods and replace them with freshly made ingredients that are free of preservatives and other chemicals. Sticking to a predominantly natural diet may help your health in many ways including helping you to get clearer skin.

Changing your eating habits can be a great challenge especially if you are used to eating a certain way for a long time but it can be done. You must focus on the benefits to drive you to do what it takes to find a solution to your acne. Eating enough fruits and vegetables is very important as these foods are great at cleansing your system naturally as well providing your body with many nutrients that it needs to heal itself.

Drinking freshly made fruit and vegetable juices can be a great addition especially carrot juice as it is quite effective at promoting healthy skin. You may even want to consider investing in a juicer of your own or you can find many fresh juice stands now in many major malls if you do not have the time to make it yourself.

It may also be a good idea to lower the amount of meats that you eat. There is no need to become a vegetarian but be sure to watch the amounts you eat and keep it under control. Using a whole food supplement can also help such as a green food supplement as this will help to give your body the natural foods it needs in order to function at its best. Remember that your body has many powerful ways to heal itself as long as you provide it with the raw materials it needs.

Keep in mind that there are many factors that can cause acne and diet is only one of them. You must also consider other potential factors like your skin cleansing habits and stress. It is important to not clean the skin too much as this will cause dryness and irritation. Usually just twice a day is enough and using a gentle cleanser is often the best choice as this will irritate your skin the least. Also consider applying stress reduction strategies into your life like exercising or learning how to do yoga or meditation.
